WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Republican U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Mike Johnson said on Tuesday that he expects the chamber to vote a stopgap measure that will fund the government until March, averting a partial shutdown that would otherwise begin when current funding expires on Dec. 20.
