After-hours movers: Ford, V.F. Corp, F5 Networks, Cadence Design and more

After-Hours Stock Movers:

Ford Motor (NYSE:F) fell 4% after it lowered its full year forecast. It now expects adjusted EBIT of about $10 billion vs $10 billion – $12 billion prior.

V.F. Corp. (VFC) rose 17% after it beat estimates for quarterly EPS and revenue, and updated full year guidance. Management said results reflect a sequential and broad-based improvement in year-on-year trends.

Cadence Design Systems (NASDAQ:CDNS) rose 7% after it published strong third quarter results driven by broad-based strength across its portfolio, especially in IP, SD&A, and hardware systems.

Boot Barn Holdings (NYSE:BOOT) fell 13% after it announced James Conroy, a retail executive with more than 25 years of experience, will depart to become the CEO of Ross Stores (NASDAQ:ROST). Ross shares were up 2%.

Rambus (NASDAQ:RMBS) fell 2% after its third quarter EPS and revenue missed consensus.

F5 Networks (NASDAQ:FFIV) gained 11% after it reported strong quarterly performance. Software revenue of $228 million grew 19% from the year-ago period.

NextEra Energy (NYSE:NEE) fell 2.75% after it announced today that it intends to sell $1.5 billion of equity units.

TransMedics Group (NASDAQ:TMDX) fell 27% after it reported disappointing results and lowered guidance.
